Caring For Innocence
A presentation for caregivers in the church and community. Caring for Innocence is a wonderful outreach tool. Offering this program to the community says your church understands and cares about those who often view themselves as outcasts. It also helps break the cycle of abuse by educating caregivers on prevention and intervention, one or both of which those who have been abused often think is impossible.
The three hour program covers such areas as:
- Understanding the dynamics of sexual abuse
- Preventing sexual abuse
- Dealing with various age groups of children who have been abused
Young children:

what to do when a young child discloses
Adolescents:

- Recognizing tactics used by abusers
