Alongside Teams are made up of two or three  volunteers who act as paracletes (those who walk alongside) to assist those who have been abused and their families. Since God is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" a team to walk with abusers from denial to restoration is also available.

A church may elect to provide:

          1.  understand the anger, confusion and pain that accompany discovering someone in the family has been sexually abused or is an abuser
          2.  are familiar with resources within the community
          3.  interact, as requested, with agencies
          4.  upon request, act as trustworthy confidants for family members who "just need to talk"
          5.  keep church leadership advised of needs that can be met by the church

• Walking Into Restoration Teams which provide abusers with workers who:

          1.  walk with the abuser through his healing process, ensuring that the abuser is held accountable for his part in his recovery process
          2.  disciple the abuser to assure that the truth of both God's love, mercy and justice are integrated into his life
